This beauty is a lightly used master-crafted Gibson Custom Acoustic 1942 J-45 reissue. One of the most valuable and sought after acoustic guitars in the vintage world, this guitar is a reissue of the aforementioned wartime classic. This modern example is loaded with exacting details and top shelf tonewoods, including the Adirondack (Red) spruce top and mahogany back and sides – both torrefied (aged) for maximum tonal depth. Other features include a mahogany neck with a profile fitting the exact measurements of the original 1942 models, hide glue construction, era correct Adirondack X-bracing, a hand rubbed finish, and a fire-stripe pickguard. This guitar is in excellent condition with few signs of use and includes the original case and COA.
